Photography Workshop Classes
Looking to get more out of your DSLR? If you're in the El Paso or Las Cruces area, get ready to start your journey into one of the funnest and most creative fields, photography! To help you begin, we offer courses to get you started! Our courses will include lessons + hands on practice! We offer courses, practice sessions, on-location & studio shoots, as well as mentoring (in-person, through email, or both)! Workshop Classes are offered on certain dates only. If you prefer one-on-one tutorials, just give us a call to arrange a date/time/location! We're here to help!
Introduction to Photography (Recommended before starting other sessions) This is session is FREE with paid registration of any two of the workshops listed below. We will discuss the basics that go into making a beautiful picture such as Exposure, Aperture, ISO, Shooting Modes, Sources of Light, Camera Essentials, and In-Studio & Outdoor Practice Session. This course comes with a digital review guide with all the notes available through email. Please bring your camera. DSLR's & point and shoot's welcome. This is a two-hour course.

Natural Light Portraits You will learn posing, appropriate backgrounds, and how to use light to get beautiful portraits! Start building a portfolio worthy of showing off! Bring your notebook and your camera! Don't forget your sunblock & a hat! This is a two hour course held 1-2 two hours before sunset ONLY.

Studio Portraiture You will learn about posing in studio settings, how to use studio lights (I use continuous lighting) and backgrounds. Please bring your camera! This course comes with a digital review guide with all the notes available through email. This is a two-hour course.

Intro to Lightroom This is one of my favorite programs to use to edit photos. It's simple and saves so much time! Learn the basics and get your photos from "good" to "great"! You must bring your laptop with lightroom installed. To install the trial version, visit www.adobe.com. This is an invaluable course that will truly transform your images!
